Journal #2

      I feel like I have used work pretty much as long as I can remember. I started using Word I believe in high school, it could have been in middle school. At my school we mainly used google docs for our assignments so that's why I'm not so sure when exactly did I start using word. I think I like both about the same, Word can be very annoying at times to use, but that is what I prefer to use. I am not sure why I prefer to use it, it's just easier access I believe.      I have selected the ISTE Standard for students to be most meaningful to me. To me this standard is basically saying how technology can be used as a tool and a healthy thing used to help the kids, and not seen as this evil thing that will stunt their learning experiences or growth. It is evident that the world as we know it is changing, we are relying more and more on technology  everyday. K-12 educators has to know this and work with  this, their students will have to rely on...

A Get to Know Me.

      Hello, I am currently and undergraduate studying to become a  future educator. It took some time for me to reach this decision actually, and to be quite honest I am not sure if this is what entirely what I want to do, I have my worries, but I feel like that's normal. I am more so worried about the fact of me being able to live comfortably the way I want, not that I won't like my profession. Sadly, educators salary is not nearly as much as it should be, but I really want to do this profession so I'm pushing on.      I'd say I used a good amount of technology over the years as a student. You honestly can't get away without using technology now a'days. I've used it for as long as I can remember but certain apps I am still not familiar with. And of course, there is always  room for improvement with my tech knowledge. So, this class will be of help.      Most of my learning resources that I use to help me better support my learning...
